Reset Methods for the IPPBX

There are two methods available to reset the IPPBX, as described below.

1. Reset Whole System

Note: This method will erase all data stored on the device.

Procedure:

1. Power off the device.

2. Press and hold the reset button, then power on the device. Continue holding the reset button for approximately 10 seconds. When the system begins resetting, the system indicator (SYS) will start blinking rapidly. At that point, release the reset button.

3. Wait approximately 8 minutes. If the process is completed successfully, the system will boot up normally.

2. Reset Application

Note: This method will only clear application data (such as extensions, dial rules, etc.). Call logs and call recordings will remain on the device.

Procedure:

1. Ensure the device is in normal operating status, with the system indicator (SYS) blinking once per second.

2. Press and hold the reset button for approximately 5 seconds, until the system indicator begins blinking rapidly. Then release the reset button. The device will begin recovering the application settings.

Note: This method is rarely used in practice. It is recommended to perform the application reset via the Graphical User Interface (GUI) instead.
