Zycoo IPPBX is built on the Asterisk platform and supports the standard SIP protocol. It can connect to IMS SIP trunks from ITSPs (Internet Telephony Service Providers) as well as SIP endpoints.
This document provides instructions for capturing Caller ID data from analog lines for troubleshooting and analysis purposes.
Before capturing Caller ID data, ensure the analog settings are configured as follows.
Log in to the IPPBX web interface using the admin account.
Navigate to Telephony → Preferences → Analog Settings
Ensure the following parameters are set to their default values:
| Parameter | Default Value |
|---|---|
| Caller ID Signaling | Bell-US |
| Caller ID Start | Ring |
Note: These settings are suitable for most regions. If your local telecommunications standard differs, please adjust the signaling accordingly.
Navigate to System → Diagnostic → Channel
From the dropdown menu, select the FXO channel (e.g., fxo 1 corresponds to Port 1).
Click the Start button to begin capturing data on the selected FXO port.
Place an incoming call to the selected FXO port (Port 1).
After answering the call on your IP phone, click the Stop button.
The system will automatically download the captured packet data. Please save this file and send it to Zycoo Support for analysis if further troubleshooting is required.
