How to upload recording files with FTP

FTP Upload

Overview

Zycoo IPPBX is built on the Asterisk platform and supports the standard SIP protocol. It can connect to IMS SIP trunks from ITSPs (Internet Telephony Service Providers) as well as SIP endpoints.

This document provides instructions for uploading recording files and logs from the IPPBX to your NAS server or FTP server.


FTP Setup Guide

1. Install FTP Server Software on Windows

Please run the software wftpd32.exe on your Windows computer.

You can download this software from the following link:

2. Create an FTP Account on WFTPD32

Step 2.1: Run the Software

Launch wftpd32.exe on your Windows computer.

Step 2.2: Create a New User

  1. Click the Security menu

  2. Click User/Rights

  3. Click New User to create an account

Step 2.3: Select the User

After creating the account, select Account 1 from the User Name list, then click Done.



3. Setup FTP on the IPPBX

Step 3.1: Log in to the IPPBX Web Portal

Log in to the IPPBX web interface using the admin account.

Step 3.2: Navigate to FTP Storage Settings

  1. Navigate to System → Storage → FTP Storage

Step 3.3: Configure FTP Storage Settings

Configure the following parameters:

Note: The FTP Server Path folder (e.g., 252recording) will be automatically created under the FTP server's D:\FTP directory.

Step 3.4: Submit Configuration

Click Submit to save the configuration.

Step 3.5: Verify Connection Status

After submission, the FTP Connect Status will display Connected if the FTP configuration is successful.


Step 3.6: Verify on Your Computer

Navigate to the FTP directory on your computer. The 252recording folder will appear under the FTP root directory, confirming that the upload is working correctly.
